Red Man II
(Oklahoma)

    DOB:  08/11/97
    Height:  33"
    Color:  dark red
    Sire:   Cobra's Red Man
               30 1/2" - dark red
    Dam:  Sunset Acres Marcie
              33" - red

Red Man II is one of the original jacks from the famous Cobra herd, and he may be the only sorrel jack from that herd "out there" (JT kept the original Red Man).  The foals that he has thrown so far have been straight and correct, as well as extremely friendly.  Red Man II brings together the Cobra lines and the Sunset Acres bloodlines.  His sire is the well known original Cobra's Red Man (lineage includes:  Cobra's Arthor, Cobra's Little Texas) and his dam is Sunset Acres Marcie (Lineage includes: LCR Valtintino 50, DMF Mighty Moe, and several imports).  Cobra's Red Man II is a very rich dark red with a broad red stripe, excellent topline and a nice hip and very straight legs.  He has extensive roaning on his face and he is friendly and easy to hand breed or pasture breed.

Below are three examples of foals produced by Red Man; they all have his great out-going disposition!

Turbo

Turbo
(Illinois)

    DOB:  04/05/05
    Height:  32 1/2"
Color:  black w/o cross; white points

               32 3/8" - black w/o cross; white points
Dam:  Hill's Haven LN Foxy Tarah
              black w/white points

Turbo is a proven herdsire that has produced small nice foals.  He can be hand breed or he prefers pasture breeding.  He is gentle and not aggressive with the jennets or the foals.  A real gentlemen!  We are no longer breeding for black and that is the only reson Turbo is for sale.  Layaway is being offered on this jack.

Buck
(jack)

* $1000 *

Buck
(Colorado)

    DOB:  08/14/02
    Height:  32 1/2"
    Color:  white
    Sire:   Yukon Ike
               32 1/4" - brown
    Dam:  Salsa Supreme
               32 3/4" - gray-dun

Buck is an excellent registered stud jack. We chose him as our herd sire because of his conformation, personality, height, and the fact that he is almost all white. Most of his offspring have been jennets, and most are spotted.  We have owned Buck since he was two years old; he is seven now, but we have to sell him to diversify our herd. He’s in top condition and LOVES people—Buck knows no strangers!

Nacona

* $3000 *

Nacona
(Texas)

    DOB:  04/26/01
    Height:  29 3/4"
    Color:  dark brown/white spotted
    Sire:   Hume's Exotic Bingo
               31" - brown/gray/white spotted
    Dam:   Double H Farm Cricket
               30 3/4" - gray-dun

Nacona is actually a son of an "Old Timer"of the breed, Hume's Exotic Bingo, 31" brown and white spotted ...... who was one of the early legitimately small and probably more importantly dark spotted jacks to come along. The sire-side of his pedigree goes on back to a founding Sire of our breed.... Fisher's Tiny Tim, 30" dark brown. Nacona's mother was likewise very small:  Double H Farm Cricket, 30 1/2" gray/pink whose pedigree is mostly made up of what appears to be Imported donkeys such as "Giovanni", "Francesca", "Franz's Sommer", "Vincenzo", etc.

He is perfectly balanced, very small...but proportioned...not "stubby" or dwarfish. Has a beautiful head, clean lengthy neck, straight back....and importantly nice deep croup and hip. His mouth is absolutely "tooth to tooth" perfect.   He's a little guy with NO health, conformation or behavior issues, and is ready to go-to-work!

Nacona would be an asset to any breeding program, especially one looking to produce small spotted foals!

Poquito Rojo
(Texas)

    DOB:  04/20/05
    Height:  31 1/2"
    Color:  sorrel
    Sire:   Ass-pirin Acres Jolly Roger
              30 3/4" - sorrel
    Dam:  Merry-Go-Round's Scarlett
              35" - dark sorrel

Poquito Rojo is a four year old sorrel jack that is  31.5" inches tall.   His pedigree looks like a Who's Who of sorrel donkeys including Arbor Ledge Little Red, Asspirin Acres Jolly Roger,  Red Barron, Valentino, Red Sonfire, Nehmiah, Redsonnehi, Luigi, Jenny Sam, Throwback to Blue, Philamena.  Rojo has a small stocky build, beautiful  short head plus nice heavy bone.   He is willing to do anything asked of him and would make a wonderful performance donkey.  Unfortunately, we must sell him due to lack of space and he is related to most of our sorrel jennets.

(Texas)

   Date of Birth:  12/29/04
   Color:  dark brown
   Height:  32"
Sire:  Brayers Are Us Tangueray Gin
             31" - dark brown
   Dam:  TRR's Contessa
             31 1/2" - gray/white spotted

Magellan is a steady winner in our tough Texas show ring!  At the 2008 ADMS National Show, he placed second in his halter class, sixth in his jumping class and first in leadline obstacles; he earned enough points to be named Reserve High Point Non-Driving Miniature Donkey.

At the 2010 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Magellan placed   third in a class of nine two and older geldings, and at the recent Texas Shoot Out, he placed fourth in halter and third in lead-line trail!   Good job, Magellan!

And just think, he has been in cart training and with a little work, next year he should be ready to start competing in harness!  He is an all-round little guy; quick to learn and eager to please!

Sire:  Brayers Are Us Tangueray Gin
             31" - dark brown
   Dam:  Triple J Ranch Anna
             33" - brown

Cotton is definitely a 'wow' donkey; he is a striking black with lots of muscle.  He is built like a tank ............ straight and wide!  If you are looking for a performance donkey, Cotton is your man; he is willing to learn and should be able to do it all!  If you aren't into performance, Cotton is just as happy running in the pasture and sharing daily donkey hugs with anyone that comes his way; he has a very laid-back disposition!

Russian Czar has certainly exceeded our expectations. He has all the qualities you look for in a herdsire. Excellent conformation, wonderful disposition, small size, color and great bloodlines. We are breeding him to our best girls and are expecting some really nice foals.

Czar has indeed given us really nice foals. We have retained several of his foals in our herd...we are also cutting down on our herd. That is the only reason that Czar is for sale.

M&M has been shown since he was six months old and has done very well in the show ring!

The 2008 NMDA National Show in Waco, Texas was the last time that we showed M&M and at that show, he took first place in his halter class and first place in showmanship!

His accomplishments in 2007 are listed below; he is a great animal for the show ring and he loves to compete!

2007 Model Gelding - SDMS Show - Corsicana, Tx
2007 Reserve Champion Gelding (twice) - SDMS Show - Corsicana
1st Place @ Halter - Fort Worth Livestock Show - Fort Worth, Texas
Second Place @ Halter - SDMS Show - Corsicana, Texas
Second Place @ Showmanship - SDMS Show - Corsicana, Texas

Since retiring from the show ring, M&M has been trained to pull the cart, and like everything else that we have asked him to do, he drives with pride and enthusiasm.

It has been a difficult decision to offer M&M to a new home, but he is just too good to be standing in the pasture!

    Dam:  CSF Marissa
              32" - brown

Looking for an outstanding spotted herdsire!  Major is your man, and he is looking for a nice herd of jennys to romance!

Major has been our primary spotted herdsire for seven years, and we have been extremely pleased with the babies he has produced for us!   We breed him to both solid and spotted jennys, and he always gives us a nice quality baby with his great laid-back disposition, and the majority of the time, it's spotted!

We sell most of his foals as weanlings, and those that we have kept have matured into nice jennys and are doing a good job for us in our brood jenny herd.

We have made the difficult decision to offer Major for sale as our breeding program now limits the number of jennys that we have for Major; we have decided to breed predominately for reds and blacks.

Major is just too good to not use, so we have made the difficult decision to offer him for sale.  A good home is a must!

If you are breeding for spots now or just starting out, you can't go wrong with Major!  He is a gentleman in the pasture and treats his jennys with respect!  Major would be an excellent asset to your  breeding program!

"Major is our Daddy!"

    Dam:  Perfection's Red Glory Day
              33 3/4" - Dark Red
World Champion Jennet - 2001 Calgary Stampede

If you are breeding for small and red, don't pass this this little guy up .............. Stars and Stripes is nothing short of fantastic!  He is a solid little jack, great laid-back disposition and a real gentleman in the breeding pasture.

In addition to breeding our jennys, Stripes gets more outside jennys to breed than any of our herdsires; he definitely earns his 'keep!'  He is a real 'eye catcher and has it all in one neat package!

Stripes has done a good job for us, and it's been a hard decision to offer him for sale, but we won't have any jennys for him next year, and he is too good to 'put on the shelf .............. so here he is!

He would be an asset to any breeding program, especially one that is breeding for those pretty red babies.  He 'trademarks' his babies with good bone structure and wonderful wide/straight legs, and  usually they have a star on their foreheads!

The donkeys in the three pictures above
were all sired by Stars and Stripes!
